Wielemans Machines restoration "at full throttle"

Our workers team held a gentle and effective cleaning of the electrical board marble panels. In accordance with our innovative working methodology, the dials have been cleaned, carefully sanded and then varnished. They have now been monted on the marble panels.

Indication platelets have undergone through the same careful cleaning process.

Felt washers have been disposed between marble and nut in order to avoid pressures on marble.

The new dials have been supplied, we still have to mount them to ensure completion of the electric board restoration. They will be applied the final coating that will provide old and new dials with a consistent appearance. We are still waiting for potential brass nuts similar to the still remaining ones. A firm from Liège is likely to produce them but we are still waiting for their quote. Stay tuned for the next news and to learn more about the finalisation of the first restoration phase.
